The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Dr. Laurie Alexander

Dr. Laurie Alexander is a distinguished business leader, consultant, educator, and retired U.S. Air Force professional with more than two decades of experience in training management, curriculum development, program management, leadership, and organizational development. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to developing people, strengthening organizations, and transforming knowledge into practical strategies that drive meaningful results.

As Founder and Lead Consultant of Knowledge, Education, & Action Coaching, LLC, Dr. Alexander brings a multidisciplinary perspective to leadership and professional development. Her work is grounded in the belief that knowledge becomes most valuable when it is applied with intention. Drawing on her extensive background in management, education, training, and organizational leadership, she works with individuals and organizations to identify opportunities, build capabilities, and turn goals into purposeful action.

Dr. Alexander has served as a Supervisor and Training Management Specialist since 2010, providing leadership in training operations and professional development. Her responsibilities have included overseeing training initiatives, supporting organizational learning, and helping ensure that programs effectively address evolving workforce and organizational needs. Earlier in her career, she held progressively responsible roles in curriculum development, assistant program management, and program management, building expertise in program strategy, instructional development, team leadership, and operational execution.

Her leadership experience is further strengthened by her distinguished foundation in the U.S. Air Force, where she served before retiring in 2000. Her military career helped shape the discipline, adaptability, leadership, and commitment to excellence that have continued to define her professional approach.

An advocate for lifelong learning, Dr. Alexander has pursued an extensive academic education spanning business, management, and information systems. She earned a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Argosy University/Atlanta, a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of Maryland. She also holds an Associate in Arts in Management from the University of Maryland and an Associate in Applied Science in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

Throughout her career, Dr. Alexander has combined academic achievement with practical leadership experience to help people and organizations navigate change, develop talent, and improve performance. Today, she continues to leverage her expertise in education, management, training, and leadership through Knowledge, Education, & Action Coaching, LLC, empowering others to move from knowledge to action and pursue sustainable professional and organizational growth.
