She is skilled at leading collaborative working sessions, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, harmonizing clinical tools, and developing executive-level deliverables for complex clinical technology initiatives.
Georgia began her nursing career in acute care and spent more than 35 years serving patients at the McGill University Health Centre, from 1989 through 2024. Her clinical experience included surgical nursing, multi-organ transplantation, and ambulatory care within a surgical clinic. These years at the bedside and within complex healthcare environments provided her with a strong foundation in patient care, clinical coordination, documentation, and the operational challenges facing healthcare organizations.
As digital technologies became increasingly important in the delivery of healthcare, Georgia developed a keen interest in the role of information systems and digital tools in improving clinical practice. This interest led her to pursue additional education in health information management. In 2021, she earned a Diploma in Health Information Management from McMaster University, expanding her expertise at the intersection of clinical care, information management, and healthcare technology.
Georgia’s academic achievement was recognized when she received McMaster University’s Award of Excellence for Exceptional Academic Performance as a member of the Class of 2021. The award recognized her achievement of the highest GPA in the Diploma in Health Information Management program.
Today, through RNCourage Nurse Consultant Inc., Georgia is focused on helping healthcare organizations and clinical teams navigate complex workflows, strengthen processes, improve documentation and standardization, and support the successful implementation and optimization of clinical technologies.
