Kaumadi Galagedara

I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. I developed an early interest in the legal field, a passion that led to a successful career as a lawyer. After being called to the bar in 2013, I practiced in various branches of civil law, taking on roles that involved both instructing and counseling clients. Seeking to further my expertise, I pursued a Master's degree at the University of West London in 2017, which was completed with Distinction. In 2021, I moved to Canada and transitioned my career focus to immigration consultancy. I undertook dedicated studies in the field, earning an Post Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship from Queen's University in 2024. By 2025, I was officially licensed as an Immigration Consultant, eligible to practice before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). I also own an operate a business offering cleaning services, apart from my profession. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy a quiet life and indulges in personal interests such as music, reading, cooking, movies, and connecting with nature.
