Biography
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE I have extensive experience in the vocational training sector, where I have worked on more than 25 study programs as a teacher, educational consultant and director. I have been responsible for over 50 teachers and 500 students. Academically, I hold a Master's degree in Education and Training Management, and my memoire, presented at Université Paris-Nanterre, was on “Self-training or self-directed learning in the workplace”. As a training manager, I am involved in all types of training, from needs analysis to the evaluation of training activities and return on investment. I have managed numerous work teams, national projects and several strategic thinking processes. I have developed large expertise in various training models: individualized teaching, work-study programs, distance learning, recognition of prior learning. My understanding of current issues in education is vast, particularly regarding lifelong learning and the development of AI. I've been a member of several national boards of directors, serving as secretary, treasurer, vice-president and president. I have held international training mandates and delivered some 100 conferences and workshops for numerous organizations in Quebec, Canada and Europe.
