Valarie Nash is a seasoned Human Resources executive, consultant, and trainer, and the Founder of 821 Consulting LLC. With over 20 years of experience in HR leadership across government, nonprofit, and private sectors, Valarie specializes in building strong, people-centered organizations through strategic HR practices, compliance management, employee relations, and leadership development. As a trusted consultant, she partners with agencies and businesses to deliver customized training and solutions that simplify complex HR challenges and elevate workplace culture. Through 821 Consulting, she leads sessions on performance management, labor relations, communication, and succession planning—empowering leaders at every level to think strategically and act with confidence. Valarie serves as President of the Stark County Human Resource Association (SCHRA) and is a mentor with SHRM’s HR Talent Accelerator program. She is also a certified Dare to Lead™ facilitator and serves on several boards, including Siffrin, Inc., JRC, and the Bishop’s Advisory Council for the Diocese of Youngstown. Driven by a passion to develop the next generation of HR and business leaders, Valarie combines professional expertise with a deep personal commitment to service, mentorship, and advocacy for women in the workforce. She is especially proud to serve as a role model for her daughter, now a professional in the behavioral health field, and her granddaughter, who is already watching closely.
