Biography
Jennifer Nixon is a transformational leader and current Principal in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. With a Master in Education and over 20 years working in the public education sector, she is dedicated to fostering collaboration, equity, and inclusion while empowering teams to reach their full potential. Prior to her involvement in public education, Jennifer worked with organizations in Southeast Asia and Oceania focused on human, environmental and Indigenous rights. Jennifer manages a team of up to 100 employees and works with hundreds of students and families. She engages with community stakeholders, Indigenous partners, and public/private sectors, while also driving strategic planning, curriculum design, and HR processes. Active in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, Jennifer is passionate about helping others achieve their personal greatness and using a compassionate approach to leadership. She demonstrates strategic vision, evidence-based decision-making and leads with decisiveness, care, and positivity.
