Goal: To live the life I could have only dreamed of as a young girl. Status: Work in progress. My Story: I am a small-town girl, born and raised. The youngest of 5, I spent my childhood doing typical “kid” activities: playing with friends, organized sports, and attending school. I also had a passion for volunteering (local dances) and even started a babysitting club with two "employees" that was booked up to 12 months in advance. I was raised by a single mom, and I learned the value of hard work and helping others early on. At 19, I entered the corporate world and thrived in the fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. My journey brought me growth within companies and new opportunities, and while I had personal goals, like becoming a mom, I also pursued a corporate career. I became a mother in 2006, 2008, and again in 2010, welcoming two daughters and a son. Being a mom has been one of my greatest joys. However, life had other plans for me, and in 2018, I became a single mom. It was an unexpected chapter, and at the time, I felt like a failure. But I picked myself up and pushed forward. In 2022, I had a setback that altered my life in many ways: the dreaded burnout. As hard as it was to take a moment to reset and realign with what mattered most to me, it was a blessing in disguise. This break allowed me to recenter myself and figure out who I was and what I wanted next. The gifts of this reset have been so bountiful, and I am forever grateful for this learning journey. Thanks to incredible support, I’ve grown into the businesswoman I am today. I've learned that when one of us wins, we all win. Collaboration, mentorship, and gratitude are at the core of everything I do. I look forward to building even more meaningful partnerships and helping others achieve their dreams.
