Shaneka Paulin

Shaneka R. Paulin is a 45-year-old woman that was born with the developmental disability of Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound. But Shaneka does not let her disability define herself! She graduated from Beacon High School in 1998 with a Regents Diploma and as a member National Honor Roll Society. Shaneka also graduated from Marist College in 2002 with B.A. with 3.23 G.P.A. and made the Dean's List twice in Fall 1999 and Spring 2021. After several years of struggle with trying to attend law school, Shaneka went back to Marist College and earned her Paralegal Certificate in 2008 with 3.82 G.P.A. For the last 12 years, Shaneka has been working as a Paralegal in the Legal Services field. From 2009-2018, She worked as a Paralegal in the Judgment Department for the Law Offices of Rosicki, Rosicki, & Associates, P.C. in Fishkill, New York. Shaneka primary duties were drafting and revising various pleadings for the Judgments of Foreclosure and Sale that were submitted to court. From 2020-2023, Shaneka worked as a Paralegal/Client Services Coordinator for the Law Office of Alexander Sherwood Keenan, PLLC and the duties included drafting and revising Wills, Trusts, and supporting documents including Health Care Proxies and Power of Attorneys for our Estate Planning clients. Shaneka also drafted and revised Contracts of Sale and supporting documents including new Deeds and closing documents for Real Estate clients. Shaneka also drafted and revised new Limited Liability Companies documents and supporting documents including new Deeds for new business formation clients. Shaneka is a very positive person with great smile and laugh! She is a quick learner and reliable worker and that would be an asset to any office. Shaneka is also very organized and detailed-oriented person as well. Right now, Shaneka is looking for a new Paralegal position preferably part-time.
