Carmenza Sanchez

I was born in Colombia. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree, I got married and became a mother of a boy and a girl. After the children reached school age I started working in the field of my studies. My first job was teaching in an Elementary School and after gaining some experience I obtained a better job in a Catholic High School. The main subjects I taught were Chemistry and English. My husband, I and our kids moved to the States and we lived there for 3 years where I gained experience in the Admin field. Then we moved to Canada where we have been living for 21 years. Arriving here I had the privilege to work at the YMCA as a Newcomers Settlement Counsellor. There I had the privilege to assist lots of Immigrants. After 10 years of living in Sarnia, ON, we moved to Calgary, AB, where we have been residing for 11 years. During my time here, I have gained more experience in the Admin field through my journey at the School where I currently work as an Admin Support and Admissions Advisor.
