Maria Rauchenberger

I am Head of the Legal & Compliance Department of the Ruffino Group, i.e. of four Italian companies belonging to the multinational company Constellation Brands, Inc. based in the state of New York. I have Mitteleuropean origins and achieved my French-German bilingual degree in Law at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, with a specialization in commercial law and a master in European law. I then moved to Florence, creating the Legal Department of the Ruffino Group in 2011. As a member of the Executive Committee I specialized in Business Sustainability Management, achieving my Master at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and in Managerial Finance, achieving my Master at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I manage national and international contracts, corporate activities, disputes, compliance with applicable legislation and I am an internal member of the Supervisory Body. I am Responsible of the Tuscan section of the Italian Association of Corporate Lawyers (A.I.G.I.). Over the years I have acquired a consolidated experience in the commercial field and recently my responsibility has been extended to the management of contracts in the EMEA area (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the label compliance, too.
