INDIRA PAUDEL

I am a first-generation school student, have an undergrad degree in Agriculture specializing in Soil science and Agri-engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. I have completed two post-doctoral fellowships from Weizmann Institute of Science Israel and Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA, respectively. During my graduate and first postdoctoral fellowship program, I also spent significant time in CNR Bologna, Italy, and other parts of Europe. My main research focus then was managing fruit trees to various environmental stresses using digital technology and high-throughput phenotyping. I am a research scientist at the Carnegie Institute of Science, Stanford campus, researching the effects of climate change factors on forest tree species. Apart from professional commitment, I love societal contributions through humanitarian activities. Out of my time from science and social things, I love hiking, reading books, writing poems, and spending time with my family.
