Biography

Zara Hoffman is a multifaceted individual known for her diverse roles and passions. She serves as an assistant to Noah Ballard, an indie author of fiction, Authortuber, and the creator/host of the Write-Ish podcast. Alongside her professional endeavors, Zara is an avid lover of musical theater and animals, particularly her beloved dog. With a self-published author journey that began in 2016, Zara has established herself as a talented writer. Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in the publishing industry as a former editorial and literary agent intern at multiple companies. This background has provided her with a well-rounded perspective on the literary world. Zara is a cum laude graduate of New York University (NYU), where she completed her undergraduate studies. She later pursued a Masters in Publishing at NYU's prestigious Center for Publishing program, further honing her knowledge and expertise in the field. Driven by her passion for amplifying marginalized voices, Zara founded Inimitable Books, LLC while still a graduate student. Inimitable Books, LLC operates as an imprint of Ulysses Press and is dedicated to publishing commercial fiction across genres from underrepresented voices, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent individuals, and those with disabilities. The imprint aims to break free from the constraints of pigeonholing authors into writing solely about the trauma associated with their identities. Zara Hoffman is a dynamic individual who combines her dedication to publishing diverse voices with her love for literature and storytelling. Through her various roles and initiatives, she strives to uplift marginalized authors and promote inclusive narratives within the publishing industry.
