Mapula Annmary Chilinchi

Annmary Chilinchi has worked in the mining industry for going on three years. She is the Senior Accountant at Noront Resources, a mining company developing Northern Ontario’s Ring of Fire region in partnership with local communities and has assisted in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, internal control processes, risk management assessment, system improvement, and integration of finance department to help the company achieve its short and long-term goals. Annmary holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Jamia Milia India, a Professional Certificate in Accounting from York University and is currently a student in the CPA Ontario program. Annmary started as an intern at the Standard Bank Group in Johannesburg where she gained valuable experience in a fast-paced investment banking environment, here she began specializing in accounting where she processed financial data, analysed financial reports, and ensured accounting practises complied with industry standards. In 2012 Annmary moved to Canada and began working for small to medium sized companies providing bookkeeping and accounting services, building meaningful connections, and ensuring business success. Annmary Chilinchi is looking forward to networking with like-minded professionals.
