Stephanie Courtney

Stephanie Courtney is a real flower child born in the Height/Ashbury of San Francisco in 1968. She had a turbulent childhood and dropped out of high school at 15. Her training in ballet and theatre let her to be accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles in 1991. She continued her academic studies at California State University, Long Beach, graduating with honors as the student President of the Honors Program. She went on to receive her MFA in theatrical directing from Trinity Reparatory Theatre, in Providence Rhode Island, under the Artistic Directorship of Oskar Eustis. Stephanie was the first director of Shakespeare by the Sea in Southern California. She went on to become the Artistic Director of Wilde Irish Productions in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Ireland to create Fortune’s Fool Productions. She taught movement and theatre history at Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in California, and at the Gaiety School of Acting, Ireland’s National Theatre School. In 2004, Stephanie began her career in website development as an SEO content copy writer for Etna Interactive in San Louis Obispo, California. When she moved to Ireland in 2007, she became certified in Google Advertising and began working in top advertising agencies like Mindshare and OMD. In 2011, Stephanie went out on her own as an independent Google Ads manager consulting for client such as MEC, Javelin, Carat/iProspect, and Red Ant. In 2021, Stephanie started The Alignment Collective, a standalone, boutique Google Ads agency serving clients in the US, UK, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
