R. Mireille Manga Edimo

R. Mireille Manga Edimo is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC). Aormer PhD fellow at Sciences Po / CEVIPOF in Paris, France between 2007-2010, she defended a PhD thesis entitled, "The virtual citizenship and new forms of political participation of Cameroonian Immigrants in France". Her teachings and research domains are Public Policies in Africa, Migration and Citizenship in Africa, Africa and its 'outside' world, Democracy and Expertise, Social Crises and Cultures. She has co-edited a book on New Nationalisms and China's Belt and Road Initiative : Exploring the Transnational Public Domain published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2022. She also contributed to many chapters in edited books, including Global Nationalism (World Scientific Publishers 2022), Political Science in Africa: Freedom, Challenges and Perspectives (Bloomsbury, Forthcoming 2023), Handbook of Teaching Public Policy (Edward Elgar, Forthcoming 2023), Migration and Citizenship: Political Science, Policies and Research in a Global Comparative Perspective edited by Yasmeen Abu-Laban, Mireille Paquet and Ethel Tungohan (Forthcoming), and many others. She has also published in international peer-review journals such as the International review of public policy (IRPP) and Critical policy studies (CPS), among many others. Since April 2019, R. Mireille Manga Edimo serves as a college member at the International Public Policy Association (IPPA). She has been elected as one of the Executive members in May 2022 and is the Convenor of the African Public Policy Network (APPN). Passionate about her work, R.
