Andrea Welling, MA, CDP, PIDP, Expands Global Impact in Women’s Leadership and Mental Health–Informed Coaching

British Columbia, Canada — Leadership coach, facilitator, and culture transformation strategist Andrea Welling, MA, CDP, PIDP, continues to elevate women and emerging leaders across the tech and entrepreneurial sectors through neuroscience-informed, empathy-based leadership coaching. As Founder and CEO of Andrea Welling Leadership Coaching, Welling equips mid-level managers and growth-stage leaders with the clarity, confidence, and relational intelligence needed to navigate modern workplace challenges.

With more than 30 years of experience in leadership development, adult education, and organizational culture transformation, Welling blends evidence-based methodology with deep compassion. Her coaching focuses on helping leaders address complex staff dynamics, remote-work challenges, retention concerns, and the emotional realities of leadership—while building trust and strengthening team performance.

Previously recognized as a Regional Leader at Futurpreneur Canada (2019–2025), Welling led one of the highest-performing provincial teams in British Columbia, supporting hundreds of young entrepreneurs in launching and scaling successful ventures. Her leadership in the entrepreneurial ecosystem further solidified her reputation as a strategic and relational leader.

Welling’s entrepreneurial roots include co-founding Ladybug Organics Home Delivery Service, an early pioneer in sustainable, community-based food systems in the Fraser Valley. The venture advanced local economic development and food security initiatives in British Columbia, reflecting her long-standing commitment to systems-level impact.

A respected thought leader in women’s leadership and mental health, Welling is currently developing her forthcoming book, Connected: Leadership and Mental Health, positioning her at the forefront of culture transformation and connection-based leadership conversations. She has delivered keynote and featured presentations at international forums including the Global Women Power Summit on Leadership and the Women Changing the World Summit, and has contributed thought leadership to platforms such as Serenity Now for Entrepreneurs.

Welling holds a Master of Arts in Women’s Studies from Simon Fraser University, where her published thesis, Feeding Our Communities: A Feminist Perspective on the Challenge of Food Production for Women in BC, contributed to provincial conversations on women’s leadership and community economic development. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business from University of Calgary. Her professional credentials include Career Development Practitioner (CDP) and Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP), alongside extensive training in mindfulness practices, adult learning, and organizational culture.

“Leadership today requires more than strategy—it requires connection,” says Welling. “When leaders feel supported and emotionally grounded, organizations thrive.”

Through executive coaching, facilitation, and public speaking, Andrea Welling remains committed to advancing women’s leadership globally and supporting emerging leaders in stepping fully into their potential.
