Jitske Beukema brings over three decades of hands-on experience in clinical research across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Her career reflects a rare balance of scientific precision, entrepreneurial vision, and leadership rooted in collaboration and quality.

Beginning her professional journey as a Clinical Research Nurse and Project Manager at Pharma Bio Research (Phase I Unit), Jitske quickly advanced into senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and Project Management roles with leading global organizations. Each step deepened her understanding of early and late-phase clinical development and solidified her reputation for operational excellence and regulatory rigor.

In 2004, she founded Research Drive, a full-service clinical research organization that has since evolved into a thriving enterprise of 11 core team members and a network of 20+ highly skilled contract CRAs operating across the European Union. Under her leadership, Research Drive built a reputation for integrity, responsiveness, and deep scientific understanding.

Continuing her commitment to innovation and collaboration, Jitske co-founded Delphinium CRO, an independent contract research organization offering full-service clinical trial management and consulting. In 2024, she and two business partners launched a new Early Phase Clinic on the University Hospital grounds in Groningen, the Netherlands, extending Delphinium’s capabilities into early-phase and translational research.
