Stella Hargrove is a Council Member in the town of Fairmount Heights, Maryland. A pillar of her community, she is an active listener and resource, always eager to help make the lives of her fellow citizens better. She has been an advocate for women and victims of domestic violence, and continues to help shape the laws and regulations within her community and the State of Maryland.
A veteran of the United States Army, Stella served for 8 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant. She was the recipient of numerous awards for her service, including Medals for Good Conduct, Army Achievement Medal, and Ribbons for Army Services, Overseas Service and NCO Professional Development.
Stella earned her high school diploma from H.D. Woodson High School, Washington, D.C. in 1981. Is the proud mother of 3 grown sons, and credits her success to faith, determination and perseverance.
