As the founder of Kosmic Apple, Shagun Sachdeva may have her eye on the sky, but her feet are planted firmly on the ground. The company is the first global commercial platform dedicated to helping provide visibility to space start-ups across the globe. Recognizing the critical need and boundless potential for development, innovation and expansion across the aerospace sector, Shagun has been able to rally international talent and investors from various industries to help close the funding gap and bring innovative, exciting proposals for new development and expansion in the space sector.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours from Monash University, Shagun went on to complete a Master of Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the same institution. She also completed an MBA specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Toulouse Business School, and is currently working toward completing her private pilot license from the Fédération Française Aéronautique.
 
Passionate about her work, Shagun is known for her expertise in LEO satellite constellations, Space Situational Awareness, Satellite manufacturing and launch trends, satellite life extension, satellite salvation and much more. She is proud to help burgeoning startups and investors to find favorable deals; identify and enable partnerships, mergers and acquisitions; and to bridge the space “valley of death”.
 
Outside of her professional endeavors, Shagun is also a dedicated volunteer, taking annual trips to complete community development, women’s empowerments and construction projects around the world, in countries such as Cambodia, Kenya and Costa Rica.
